Ventilation solution for Bled Rose Hotel ****
The newly opened 4-star Bled Rose Hotel boasts not only charming elegance, but also a range of exquisite experiences and fine cuisine. A modern complex with a new restaurant, SPA and wedding hall has grown on the site of the former Jelovica Hotel, and the complete renovation also included an energy-efficient ventilation system.

Upon entering the hotel, a comfortable indoor climate is provided by floor convectors combined with ceiling fan coils, while fresh air in the premises is supplied by 8 air handling units.

For the specific conditions in the swimming pool, the air handling unit was designed in swimming pool execution, while two separate indoor air handling units are supplying fresh air to the SPA and sauna area.

Two indoor air handling units ventilate the dining room and wedding hall, while an outdoor air handling unit was designed for the hotel lobby.

Each of the 90 stylish hotel rooms are equipped with a fan coil unit, allowing every guest to individually adjust the room temperature.

A favorable climate for the culinary masters in the hotel kitchen is provided by two supply air handling units combined with exhaust hoods.

The design of the mechanical and electrical installations was entrusted to the design company BIRO ES d.o.o., which has extensive experience in solutions for hotels. During the hotel renovation project, the main task was to determine the most appropriate technical interventions in the existing building structures that would provide the highest possible level of comfort in the expanded hotel complex. According to Mr. Iztok Ipavec, the responsible engineer for mechanical installations, it was possible to optimally adapt to specific project requirements with our products. In order to ensure a comfortable indoor climate in a large number of rooms for various purposes, it was necessary to make multiple adjustments during the planning and the construction itself. Hereby, proper design and installation choices, as well as good technical support from the equipment manufacturer were of crucial importance. The result is a complex air conditioning and heating system that meets all design requirements.

Mechanical installations were carried out by KOVINAR Kočevje d.o.o., which has for many years been incorporating our solutions into projects that require a high level of indoor comfort. According to the director of the company, Mr. Rafko Švegelj, the reason for the cooperation is excellent responsiveness and professional support throughout the complete project, from the offer to the final start-up on site.
