Underground shooting range in Sion, Switzerland
OC IMP Klima supplied air handling units for Switzerland’s largest indoor shooting range in Sion. Named “La Tranchée,” the 7,200 m² complex is designed to accommodate several dozen shooters simultaneously.
This unique facility features the latest technical innovations and complies with the strictest environmental and acoustic standards. It consists of ten shooting modules, seven reserved for the Swiss Army and three for the Valais Cantonal Police. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the facilities can accommodate several dozen shooters at the same time.
The modular infrastructure allows for short-range shooting training (0 to 30 meters), self-defense exercises, and simulations of stress situations using immersive visual and sound effects. It is also equipped with a dojo, changing rooms, storage areas, and sanitary facilities.
OC IMP Klima supplied for this project:
- 10 supply-exhaust air handling units with 36,000 m3/h each and fully equipped with controls
- One small compact AHU
- Web server with a mini BMS system and management of all 11 units via a larger touchscreen
- Cabling and commissioning on site
