Project preparations began as early as 2016, when we conducted a full-scale test of a prototype air handling unit at our testing center in Godovič. The unit operated continuously for two weeks under design conditions. With this demanding test, we successfully demonstrated to the client that our air handling units perform flawlessly at a fresh air temperature of 33.5°C and 70% humidity, achieving the required efficiency while preventing condensation on the casing. The thermal transmittance of the casing and the thermal bridge factor complied with class T2/TB2.

In addition to operating in a hot and humid climate, the client required the integration of the most efficient fans currently available on the market and adsorption rotary regenerators. The unit casing is made of aluzinc with a reinforced base frame. As production runs virtually without interruption, all units are equipped with redundant systems to prevent any unwanted downtime.

The first delivery of air handling units took place in 2018 and was intended for the renovation of an existing production facility. At the same time, our team conducted comprehensive training for the maintenance team in Mexico. Subsequent deliveries in 2019, 2023, 2024, and 2025 were intended for new facilities for the production of LEGO bricks. Prior to delivery, a Factory Acceptance Test was carried out at our production site in Godovič. We are extremely pleased that the client was so satisfied with the performance of our air handling units that we were selected again each time despite strong supplier competition.
