PepsiCo R&D center in Cork, Ireland
OC IMP Klima has supplied modular air handling units for the PepsiCo’s R&D center in Little Island, Co. Cork, Ireland, a major innovation hub for the company’s global beverage, nutrition, and, more recently, digital engineering initiatives. The facility focuses on product development, quality assurance, and digital transformation, supporting brands like Pepsi Max, Gatorade, and 7Up.
Situated in the Little Island Business Park, Co. Cork, is the state-of-the-art R&D campus that leads on beverage development, product research, and, as of recent expansions, a global R&D Digital Engineering team. A major €127 million investment was announced in 2023 to expand both the manufacturing and R&D capabilities. The campus is critical for bringing new products through the development pipeline, including testing, commercialization, and regulatory management.
